AI Agent
An AI system that can take multiple steps and actions toward a goal, not just answer a single question.
Unlike a simple chatbot that answers one prompt at a time, an AI agent can plan a sequence of steps, call tools or APIs, observe the results, and decide what to do next — looping until the task is done or it needs human input. Agentic workflows are the basis for most modern AI automation, from a support-ticket triage agent to a coding agent.
