Chain-of-Thought Prompting
Prompting a model to reason through intermediate steps before giving a final answer.
Instead of asking a model to jump straight to an answer, chain-of-thought prompting asks it to work through the problem step by step first — which measurably improves accuracy on tasks involving logic, arithmetic, or multi-step reasoning, at the cost of a longer, slower response.
