Ownership Transfer
An engagement model where the client ends up owning and able to independently run/extend what was built.
In contrast to a dependency-creating engagement (where the client needs the vendor to keep the system running), an ownership-transfer engagement is explicitly designed to hand over working, documented systems the client's own team can operate and modify without the original builder.
