Guardrails

Explicit checks that constrain what an AI system is allowed to say or do.

Guardrails are rules layered around a model — filtering inputs, validating outputs, or blocking categories of response entirely — so the system's behavior stays within defined boundaries even when the underlying model would otherwise produce something out of scope, incorrect, or unsafe.
